I want to be a Sacramento Free Day of Yoga volunteer!
We're looking to assemble a team of fun, helpful folks who want to be part of making Sacramento Free Day of Yoga happen. Whether you have only a few hours or tons of time available, there are ways you can help.
Volunteers are needed to help with:
Advertising. Designing and printing posters, promoting Sacramento Free Day of Yoga online, in the media, and more. Can't commit to the big stuff? Help plaster Sacramento with Free Day of Yoga posters in August!
Communication. Facebook and Twitter status updates, website updates, and more. Help keep everyone in the loop!
Studio outreach. Contacting local studios and explaining what Free Day of Yoga is all about and how they can participate. More studios may mean more class offerings and more awareness.
Community outreach. This event is not just for yoga studios! We need your help to get related places like REI (a 2012 sponsor) and companies like Luna Bar (also a 2012 sponsor) connected with this event. Have connections or want to make connections? This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.
Photography. Even though we are online this year, we still want photos and videos of classes.
Other. There are many little things that come up as Free Day of Yoga approaches! Have an hour to spare in August? We'll certainly have some task that needs to be completed.
